David Morris

Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director

Mr David Morris joined Monash IVF Group in the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director role in November 2017.

David has more than 20 years of leadership, international business development and strategy experience, previously working with Cochlear Limited, the global leader in implantable hearing solutions, as Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining Cochlear Limited, David worked at Accenture in the strategy practice.

David has extensive experience internationally and domestically in the healthcare, consumer products, utilities and financial services industries. David holds degrees in Business and Applied Science from Monash University, Melbourne. He has also completed an Advanced Business Management Program at Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael Knaap

Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Mr Michael Knaap commenced as the Monash IVF Group CFO and Company Secretary in August 2015.

Michael has more than 15 years’ experience in senior finance executive roles in the FMCG sector in both listed and unlisted organisations. Michael’s role prior to joining Monash IVF Group was with Patties Foods Limited where he held a number executive positions’ in 6 years, including the role of CFO and Company Secretary.

He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Monash University and is a Certified Practising Accountant.

Tracey Scott

General Manager Victorian

Ms Tracey Scott was appointed to the role of Monash IVF General Manager Victoria in May 2014.

Tracey has over 25 years’ experience in senior executive roles across the healthcare sector, both in the private and not-for-profit hospital environments. Tracey’s role to joining Monash IVF Group was with Epworth HealthCare where she held executive positions of Executive Director Richmond and Executive Director of Strategic Development.

Tracey began her career in Nursing and holds an undergraduate degree in Arts (Psychology) and MBA.

Johannes Lagerwij

Director of International Business Development

Mr Johannes “Jan” Lagerwij joined the Monash IVF Group in March 2017 as the Director of International Business Development.

Jan’s role will be to further strengthen the organisation’s footprint in international markets by identifying and executing potential overseas partnerships and acquisitions to grow and expand the Monash IVF Group brand internationally. Jan comes with extensive global experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, co-development licensing and funding in the healthcare field.

Prior to his appointment with Monash IVF Group, he was an independent healthcare consultant advising strategic firms, venture capital and private equity in various strategic and transactional projects in China and Singapore.

Tom Sexton

Regional Manager – New South Wales and Queensland

Mr Tom Sexton joined Monash IVF in 2013 and is responsible for the Queensland operations of Monash IVF Group, including both Monash IVF and MyIVF. Tom has undergraduate degrees in Science (Exercise Physiology) and Arts (Psychology) from University of Queensland and more recently has completed an MBA at Melbourne Business School. Before joining Monash IVF, Tom has worked in senior management roles across various medical fields, including dentistry and general practice, and prior to that he undertook number of retail FMCG management positions.

Hamish Hamilton

Regional Manager South Australia, Northern Territory & Ultrasound

Dr Hamish Hamilton was appointed the General Manager of Repromed Adelaide and Darwin in 2014 – having previously held the role of General Manager Repromed Darwin from 2012. Hamish now also oversees the Group’s ultrasound services.

Hamish has worked as a Scientist in reproduction for almost 20 years obtaining his PhD in Mamalian preimplantation embryo development in 2005. He has since worked in senior scientific roles within SA and NT and maintains a strong interest in embryo and oocyte cryopreservation. Hamish is proud to lead a strong and talented group of clinical, scientific, nursing and customer service staff who work together to provide a world-class fertility service that is second to none in Australia.

Tedd Fuell

Group Quality, Risk & Compliance Manager

Ms Tedd Fuell joined the Monash IVF Group in February 2016 as the Group Quality, Risk & Compliance Manager. Tedd has spent the last 15 years working in the healthcare industry in both project management and quality and compliance roles. Before joining the Monash IVF Group, Tedd worked for UK Pharmaceutical Group, Forum Bioscience and subsidiary Britannia Pharmaceuticals. Her last seven years have been spent in the fertility industry working on quality, risk and compliance.

Tedd holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) degree from the University of London.

Alan Pritchard

Chief Information Officer

Mr Alan Pritchard was appointed to the role of Monash IVF Group CIO in August 2013. Alan has more than 15 years' experience in senior information technology executive roles in the healthcare sector in both listed and unlisted organisations. Prior to joining Monash IVF Group, Alan provided Business Process Offshoring consulting services to the healthcare industry and held IT management roles with Symbion Health and the Mayne Group, where he ran the IT function for the Diagnostic Services Division. He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from Cambridge University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

Everard Hunder

Group Marketing Manager

Mr Everard Hunder joined Monash IVF in 2016 and is responsible for the group’s marketing strategy, product development and new patient pipeline. Everard has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Political Science (RMIT) and a Masters of Marketing (Monash University). Before joining Monash IVF, Everard worked in senior marketing roles for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, Spotless Group Limited, Genetic Technologies Limited and CSIRO.

Prof Michelle Lane

Regional Manager

Prof Michelle Lane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Melbourne and a Ph.D. from Monash University. Joining Repromed in 2003, Michelle has enjoyed a number of roles within the Monash IVF Group including Scientific Director, Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Operating Manager before becoming the Group Regional Manager in 2016. Michelle’s extensive knowledge in the area of preimplantation embryology has seen her published in over 53 publications.

Prof Luk Rombauts

Group Medical Director

Prof Luk Rombauts joined the Monash IVF Group in 1999, becoming Group Medical Director in 2016. Luk also holds positions as the Research Director at Monash IVF, Adjunct Clinical Professor at Monash University and Clinical Research Director of the Endometriosis Care Centre of Australia (ECCA). Luk is also the Vice-President of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA) where he was appointed in 2011.

Malik Jainudeen

Group Financial Controller

Mr Malik Jainudeen was appointed to the role of Monash IVF Group Financial Controller in June 2014.

Malik has more than 13 years’ experience in the finance sector including almost 10 years at KPMG as a Manager in Audit & Assurance. Malik’s client portfolio included ASX listed organisations Origin Energy Limited, AusNet Services and Dulux Group Limited. Malik was also the External Audit Manager for the Monash IVF Group for 6 years prior to its listing on the ASX in 2014.

Malik holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Chartered Accountant.

May Kew, Loke

Centre Manager of KL Fertility

Ms. May Kew joined in June 2015 as the Centre Manager of KL Fertility. She is responsible for the overall operations, administrations, business development and marketing aspects of the business unit. Prior to her joining KL Fertility, she was a very experienced and renowned Chief Embryologist at one of Malaysia's busiest fertility centre and possess more than 14 years of experience as an Embryologist. She graduated from the University of Leeds in the UK with Master of Science in Clinical Embryology and is currently undergoing Masters in Business Administration.

Peggy North

Group Human Resources Manager

Ms Peggy North joined the Monash IVF Group as Group Human Resources Manager in March 2017.

In her 16 years as a Human Resources specialist, she has worked in large multinational, public and private companies, developing HR action plans; designing, leading and facilitating change processes; applying change management methodologies; and, developing recommendations to promote HR policy, cultural and procedural change.

Prior to joining the Group, Peggy gained her Human Resources experience working for leading Australian and International FMCG organisations.

Peggy holds a Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Human Resources Management and Services from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne and is currently undertaking her MBA.
